"The Funmi Adewole Foundation (FAF) was founded in honor of Funmi Adewole who, as a nurse practitioner, was committed to the cause of healthcare in Africa. The foundation continues her legacy with a mission to provide free basic health care to underserved communities across Africa, support quality education in the continent through an education trust fund, and promote cancer awareness initiatives in the United States and Africa. "
FAF sends teams of volunteer doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other health professionals to medically under-served communities in Africa.
Education Trust Fund
Our Education Trust Fund supports education development in Africa by providing scholarships, small grants, and in-kind assistance to help students, schools, and other learning institutions achieve quality education goals.
In memory of Funmi Adewole, FAF continues the fight against colon cancer to promote awareness and raise funds for treatment and research that will lead to curing the disease.
